As a child I was always involved with some type of creative project. My mother encouraged creativity by teaching her children to sew and doing all kinds of crafts.  I have always drawn but not until I took some introductory art classes at university did I find my way back to painting. I love the vibrancy of acrylics.   My favourite subjects are flowers having worked as a floral designer for 12 years before returning to university to get a degree in anthropology.  Landscapes are also a favourite subject having travelled across Canada twice I am always amazed at the diversity of our country.
