Ceramics by Dave
Every piece is unique. Most pieces start out in a ceramic mold and are then distorted. The glazing is the result of over two years of experimenting to produce a melted glass effect. Once the glaze was achieved it was an obvious step to make the entire piece look melted. The result is a piece that looks like it is pottery rather than ceramics. Some items such as the dragon pieces are acquired in a state that can no longer be manipulated so the fun is had with the glazing. Because they are cast elsewhere, they cost more to complete. Special orders can be arranged.
