Born and raised in Calgary, I have always had a passion for art. My parents encouraged me, from a young age, to pursue my interest in drawing, painting and various other mediums. The majority of my art education has been obtained through experimentation and from self directed research. I did, however, have a chance to take a number of art classes during University as part of a Fine Arts Minor. This allowed me to expand my knowledge of art history as well as photography and drawing techniques.

I am currently working mainly in acrylic on canvas. My favourite subject matter to paint is derived from the natural world as well as the human spirit as expressed through the body.
